This is a reading log in MLA format. Quote, response, and reflection on the book “Just Babies” The origins of good and evil, By Paul Bloom. This will be an eight (8) page paper. There should be a loose mixture of three types of entries: Quote and Response – where a short quote is followed by your thoughts about it; Questions – where you can ask any questions you have about the content in the text; and then Reflections- where you are free to simply share what you are thinking about the book, diary-style. You are required to complete 8 pages in total from the entire Bloom book (so that’s about 4 pages per half of the book). It is also required that you do a solid blend of all three types. I don’t want 8 pages of Journals without seeing any quotes, or Journals and Quotes without any Questions, etc. I want to see all three randomly mixed together in the Reading Logs, just as I have shown in this sample.
