This is a discussion forum to discuss the Federal Plain Language Guidelines (See Web Links). What I would like each student to do is to find a particular section of the guidelines. (Look over the Table of Contents to see the different issues that are covered.) Choose one, read up on it, and present in the forum what that section says, how you feel it might be helpful in your work (or not helpful if that’s the case), examples of its use or abuse that you have seen in the work environment, or questions/concerns you may have.
In other words, I am not asking you to read the entire 118 page document. I want you to close read one section from it, and share that with the class.
