This assignment is an opportunity for you to apply the phases of the DMAIC process to a real-world project. Identify an actual Six Sigma project. This might be from your employer, an organization you are involved with, or a project that you read about in the literature or on the internet. For the assignment, write five short paragraphs, one for each of the five DMAIC phases. The requirement is to describe a specific project/problem that has been addressed with the DMAIC approach. Please do not describe a company’s general pursuit of Six Sigma.
