There are several practice examples in the last 5 or 6 pages. Once you are comfortable with those, your assignment for this lab will be to write the following words and/or phrases in Maya scriipt. You can be as creative as you like, as long as you follow the basic conventions of Maya writing. You can upload your glyphs using one of the following methods:
1. Draw your glyphs by hand on paper, take a photograph of them, and upload them as jpegs.
2. Draw them using a digital drawing software like Adobe Illustrator, save them as jpegs, and upload them.
Here are the phrases you must translate. Make sure to write them out in English phonetically below each set of glyphs.
1. “My name is __(your name)__”
2. “Go Buffaloes”
3. “I have three cups of cacao”
4. Any phrase of your choosing.
