Read the International Management in Action brief about Volkswagen in your text (Chapter 3): Volkswagen’s Challenges with Ethical Business Practices. Using the readings, lecture, and your own scholarly research, complete an analysis of Volkswagen. Address the following in your paper:
• How did Volkswagen, a well-known and large MNC, find themselves in this situation?
• Which ethical theory can be applied to their decision-making before the situation?
• Which ethical theory can be applied to their decision-making after the situation became public?
• How would you characterize the company’s actions?
