—- —Coleman’s article is presented as a case study but has significant elements of phenomenology and narrative. Layering approaches is not unheard of in qualitative research and many studies could easily match multiple approaches. What elements of phenomenology are present in this study? What elements of narrative do you see in this study? What are your thoughts on mixing approaches and do you think it worked here? Why or why not?
