The Final Examination shall consist of two Essays concerning two chosen topics based upon the readings and video lectures taken from the fifteen units of this course.
The professor shall announce a list of ten topics during the final week of this course. The student may choose any two topics to address for his or her final examination.
The student shall be required to write two, formal essays addressing his or her chosen topics. The final examination essays should demonstrate a college-level command of standard composition, written in a formal style, using University of Chicago Manual of Style, with a minimum of eight footnotes, citing the respective primary work and the appropriate video lectures. Each essay should be between 1000-1500 words, typed double-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman font or its equivalent. This Essay should be submitted in PDF form.
Late Submissions will not be accepted.
The Final examination shall constitute 40% of the grade.
