For this assignment, you will be required to collect original data in the form of a 1 to 2-hour qualitative interview on a social issue or problem of your choosing. The purpose of this paper will allow you to gain a better understanding of how sociologists can study society and social patterns by collecting rich, detailed data through an individual’s lived experience. To complete this assignment, you will also be responsible for recording and transcribing your interview.
