The deepest learning occurs when we apply new information and insight to our our own lives. Reflecting on what we have learned and applying what we have learned are powerful tools that can bring about growth and transformation.
1.Write three full pages in APA format (double spaced, 12 arial font, APA formatting in margins, justification, etc). Include a cover page and a references page for a total of five pages. Submit your paper in Microsoft Word format.
2.This paper is an autobiography. Write about your own development up to this point in your life. Tell the story of how you came to be who you are, physically, cognitively, socially, morally, and personality. Reference the topics, concepts, developmental stages, and theories covered in the course content. Identify the stages of development as you tell your specific story. Include social, biological, cultural, and other significant influences in your development. Apply specific developmental concepts such as Ainsworth’s attachment theory, Kohlberg’s moral development theory, Erikson’s psychosocial development theory, or others you found most applicable to your development.
3.As you heard in the video, “Dare to Listen,” I want to hear your story. The paper will be submitted through SafeAssign, a plagiarism check (SafeAssign score must be less than 15%). To earn full credit, use APA format, write well (visit the Dallas College online writing center lab for free help on this), and demonstrate clearly what you have learned in this course about lifespan growth and development. Obviously, you cannot cover every concept we studied, but I am looking for a minimum of four specific applications to the content learned.
