Be specific and give examples, using at least two outside references, to buttress your argument. Cite all sources in APA format.
Option A:
“People must be consistent. Heterosexual individuals need to be consistently hetero. Virtuous people need to be consistently virtuous. Any falling away from the absolute means that the person can no longer be considered to have that attribute.”
Discussion:
Using your reading in this course so far and other research, discuss the ethical concepts referred to in this statement.
Option B:
“Men and women have different thought processes and require different approaches in life.”
B1: “Modern education systems are geared to educating females rather than males.”

B2: “Modern education systems are geared to educating males rather than females.”

Choose either option B1 or B2 and, using your reading in this course so far and other research, discuss the ethical concepts referred to in this statement.
There are two completely different concepts to write about this week. One raises the question: “If we are not consistent in following what we claim to be our ethics, can we still be considered to have them?” The second raises the question: “Are men and women significantly enough different that we need to treat them separately?” Note that this is a gender issue not a race issue. In the past race has been misused to make a similar argument. However, just because it is incorrect to use race as a basis for different treatment does that mean that gender also cannot be used as a basis for different treatment?
