T‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍his assessment is based on the field trip to a Glasgow based gallery undertaken during reading week. Students are to write a critical response to one or several works on display. Students may also choose discuss the exhibition as a whole. Responses should reference some of the key concepts discussed in lectures as well as drawing on outside literature in the field. Your essay should: • Provide a description of the work which leads into critical analysis. • Indicate how the work/exhibition illustrates some of the ideas discussed in lectures. • Show how the artwork/film is an example of using media to explore theoretical ideas and concepts. The criteria for assessment are: • Quality of argument • Research (consultat‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ion of appropriate literature and historical texts) • Essay structure/writing style • Presentation (references, bibliography etc) • Observance of word limit The instructions are above. I would like to have the essay written about a recent exhibition I’ve attended based on the resources that I’ve attached. I have tried to write the essay but could not complete it (also attached). Please note that I was not able to upload more than 5 documents.
