Should vaccination requirements be in place? A divide on vax vs anti-vas is not

Should vaccination requirements be in place? A divide on vax vs anti-vas is not new; however, the majority of Americans have had at least one vaccine in their lifetime. The COVID 19 vaccine has become very political at both the state and national level. Required and/or recommended vaccinations for schools and places of employment have been in place for years; however, there is now both statewide and national debate on this topic. (Medical vaccinations are accepted in all 50 states plus D.C.; however, religious and philosophical exemptions exist in only some state.) Does mixing vaccinated and unvaccinated personnel in a close environment (such as an indoor workplace or school) pose a risk to one another? What does the value of “public welfare” have in making a law to separate the two? Would it be discriminatory to create separate spaces for the vaccinated and unvaccinated? What is a vaccination and why do they exist? Should schools/hospitals/businesses/etc have separate facilities for vaccinated and unvaccinated people?
