The literature review must follow APA formatting guidelines, be no more than 5 pages and must include a minimum of 20 distinct citations. No more than 3 of the total citations can web pages or web-based resources. Web based resources (.gov; .org or .edu) are good sources for the most cu‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍rrent statistical information on most areas of social work research and should be used for this purpose. The remaining resources should be research studies published in peer-reviewed journals and be no older than 10 years (unless there is a substantiated reason to include older information). Each student must obtain instructor approval of their selected topic‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍.
