Research Question: Using the Agenda2063, critically analyze and evaluate the efforts made by the African Union in the agenda to end the continent’s economic, political, and social dependency on global powers. (You must use the readings and concepts of “Pan-Africanism” & “Regional Integration” in your answer). These readings are the two article by Thonke and Spliid and Makina/Okumu (AU challenges of globalization, security and governance).
1. The writing style must follow exactly the writing guidelines document attached.
2. You need to use direct quotes and evidence by scholars. Make sure to mention scholar names constantly (example author X argues, or according to scholar x). Make sure to link through compare and contrast the arguments of different authors to one another.
3. The main focus should be a critical review of the agenda 2063 to asses the AU efforts in ending the continent dependency on foreign powers. Therefore, quote direct clauses from the agenda when necessary. (For example As per chapter 2.3 ….).
4. Make sure that the thesis is introduced early on in the format (This paper argues ….). Always link the analysis after each point to thesis. Please be concise.
5. You are required to draw on a minimum of (8) readings from the course reading list (All sources attached) and NO less than (9) reputable outside scholarly sources to craft a well-thought-out and clearly argued research paper.
