This group assignment is a continuation of the quality analytics simulation. You will have an opportunity to reflect on and share your experience completing the simulation. It is also an opportunity to demonstrate your level of understanding of quality management principles.
This assignment covers the following learning outcomes from the course syllabus:
Calculate the control limits and the capability indexes of a process
Use control limits in real time to maintain control of a process
Analyze control charts post hoc to determine whether a process is capable
Examine quality control investment decisions to minimize total cost of quality
Use data analytics to examine a process capability and examine various costs of quality
Examine the relationship between internal failure costs, external failure costs, appraisal costs and prevention costs and how they contribute to the total cost of quality
Differentiate between a process that is statistical control and a process that is capable
Apply a wide variety of tools and techniques, including the seven basic quality control tools to monitor project success
Use Minitab to analyze data, create and interpret graphs for better project management and organizational decision making
Create, analyze, and interpret quality control charts
For this group assignment, work with your teammates to develop a 10-15-minute PowerPoint Presentation. You will want to include the following components in your presentation.

Background of the simulation
Key concepts covered
The purpose of control charts
Collect data from a production shift from the simulation (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
Copy and paste the data into Minitab Statistics
Create a control chart (subgroup size = 5) and incorporate the chart into your presentation
Explain the chart to your peers (e.g., why did you choose that particular chart)
Process adjustments
Explain how you decided when to make process adjustments
