Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to develop a better understanding of the pediatric population. As part of the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN), the class project focus will be on preventative care for elderly clients. Students will be assigned as a group to collaborate in the project below and organize information utilizing the QSEN Initiatives: Patient-Centered Care, Teamwork and collaboration, Evidence-Based Practice, Quality Improvement, Safety, and Informatics.
Project Directions:
1. Students will be assigned a case scenario (see attached) by the instructor and are to pair up with a peer to address the assigned QSEN criteria information listed below.
