Power point with speaker notes
The powerpoint needs to be clean and clutter free. It needs to have graphs and photos. The speaker notes need to be available so that I can give the presentation.
Your presentation is 10 min max. As a rule of thumb, plan for 1 min or more per slide (so 10 slides max) and make your slides EASY TO SEE AND COMPREHEND. Usually that means ditch the clutter, keep texts short, use large fond (eg Ariel 24p), and simplify graphs if need be. Everybody likes pictures, so make your point by showing visuals. Think of the point you’re trying to make for each slide and make that the title of the slide.
Your abstract should be informative. Remember that your presentation becomes part of the course material (and thus exams). Your abstract is the only ‘text book’ your audience has beside their notes.

Here are some brainstorming questions
1. Are the microplastics locally produced, or do they drift in with currents?
2. Do thy have a different effect/accumulation on the southside (corals) of P.R. than the north side?
3. Is P.R. doing something (clean up?)
4. How far offshore/ how deep does the pollution reach?
5. Do they end up in the sediments or do they remain suspended in the water?
6. Do they affect productivity?
