1- propose a method to reduce waste or increase recycling rate over the already existing technologies in the literature, and show by theory and experiment that it is correct.
There are only way to solve this problem : invent new technologies that reduce the environmental impact.

First of all, research is not a survey nor report. Internationally, the indicators used for research evaluation are originality, novelty, and credibility. In other words, if you create your own opinion by collecting the ideas of others that already exist, it is not research. That is called a critique. Especially in the field of engineering, it is essential to propose a new technology to solve a problem. Listing questions does not constitute research. The reason is that the problem has not been solved by your research.
A literature review is not done to find answers to a research question, but to find out how far others have gone in solving the same problem. If there is literature that has the same idea as yours, it means that the research has already been done and there is no need to do a new research. Reliability can also be obtained by checking the evaluation of your proposed technology through experiments and simulations.

With regard to emissions, I presume we are narrowing the scope to those related to oil. Therefore, which option suits my thesis ,How about green well-completions to recover a significant portion of the product that would have been fared, or vented, thereby increasing emissions? This technology would not only reduce volatile organic compounds and methane emissions, but would also improve water recovery for reuse in the oil processing cycle.
What advice thoughts, or input?
How about using renewable sources of energy to minimize emissions arising from enhanced oil recovery?
Alternatively, should the approach relate to emission reduction in the actual product? Reduced emission completions (or green completions) may recoup the costs of isolating natural gas from the flow-back liquid .
There are numerous approaches to problem; that’s why I sought your clarification/approval.
However, since the topic deals with emission reduction technology, or recycling, I have narrowed down the topic to containing the menace from the source.
Given the environmental cost of venting and flaring (combustion of hydrocarbons that would have otherwise been vented), green well completion seems to be the most viable option to offset the loss of natural gas and other hydrocarbon streams that would have otherwise been vented, or flared during hydro-fracking. This process filters out and recycles water for future fracturing tasks. In essence, REC focuses on product recovery, and emission reduction during the oil/gas production phase.
Benefits of this approach: The process reduces:
1) Methane and VOC emissions (unlike venting).
2) PM25, oxides of nitrogen, and carbon monoxide (relative to flaring).
Since the research is open-ended, and a prerequisite for a dissertation to follow thereafter, please i need yore approval to start.

I don’t agree to change the theme easily when we encounter some unknown matter. I strongly recommend that we continue with the current trend and continue with the theme on waste reduction. In Saudi Arabia, the price of oil is very low, which makes the cost of recycling relatively very high. This is the reason why the recycling rate is capped. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, it is important to develop technologies that will lower the recycling cost than the technologies used in other countries.
One thing to consider when thinking of a solution to this problem. Saudi Arabia has long hours of sunshine, so solar power can provide inexpensive electricity. This power can be used to reduce recycling costs. The idea is that the difference in sunlight hours will be the difference between the recycling costs in other countries.
However, it should be shown in your research what recycling process should use solar energy and how much recycling cost can be reduced by this technology.
