Elon Musk is releasing three new Teslas in 2023: the Model 2, Cyber Truck and the Robo Van.The Robo Van is the product I selected for this assignment. It is an electric passenger van that will be an autonomous vehicle. Robo Van will be an auto pilot van with no steering wheel or pedals. It can hold as many as twelve passengers at a time, self driving, quick onboarding and exiting.This will be the ideal van for people with disabilities.
Robo Van will try to fill the need to provide transportation for a large group of people and people with disabilities. This van will be beneficial to people who don’t or can’t drive. I believe the need will be filled. Robo Van represents sustaining innovation. Electric cars are not a new idea for Musk. His plan is to improve the existing features in Teslas, make the cars affordable and completely autonomous. Flow production will be used to make the Robo Van, because of the large identical products being produced. A prototype will be designed and tested before mass production. I do believe they can produce a lot of products in a short amount of time, because they can produce as many as a thousand cars per day, which is an increase from past production. They continue to make products accessible and affordable to more people, accelerating the advent of clean transport and clean energy production (1).
