Having you develop a picture collage will help you to develop fundamental presentation and organization skills. This assignment is intended to serve as an opportunity for you to experience a professional presentation and receive feedback that will help you improve and refine your presentation style. Task(s): You are to create a pic collage based on the policy you selected to analyze. The topic selected should relate back to the policy you selected for your previous assignment. A picture collage is a visual image summary of some topic/case/social phenomenon. Your project is to follow APA-style formatting, which is a common method of professionally presenting research in a way that allows observers to understand key issues associated with your research. Quality and professionalism is the expectation of this assignment. Throughout the semester, you should collect photos that support your research. Your final project will be submitted as a PowerPoint presentation on the identified due date towards the end of the term. The section-by-section point breakdown will provide information regarding the number of PPT slides you are required to submit. The assignment requirements are: Identify a topic – 10 points. You will have identified a topic (again, this should be based on the policy you selected). Once the topic is approved, you will n‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ot be allowed to change it…so make sure it is something you’re interested in researching. This should be your title slide. You already identified your topic. Once you’ve selected your topic, you are to submit a rationale for selecting the topic. Your rationale serves as justification for researching the topic. Your rationale should be no more than 50 words in length. Be specific as you write your rationale. This should be your 2nd slide. You can simply copy and paste the rationale you submitted here. Make sure the pictures are relevant to your research. The pictures should support the research. Your final project should contain between 10-15 pictures. You should have 1 slide per picture. Each picture will include a narrative, describing the background story of the picture. Here’s where you need to be creative. Your narrative should be based on the premise that “a picture is worth 1000 words”, meaning, you must tell the story behind the picture. In your narrative, you should discuss your reason for selecting the picture and how the picture contributes to your research. I recommend you place your narratives on the same slide as the picture (see bullet above). You’ll have to format your slides to accommodate the narrative. Your narratives are to adhere to proper grammar, spelling format. This is pretty straightforward. Provide a 100 word (minimum) statement, summarizing your research.
