Ok, so basically I began college in 2009 age of 18 – fall semester, at the university of texas at san antonio. Well, ya know, you and dumb, made few bad choicees… shortly after just getting into my 2nd year into my sophmore year, I sort of “non intentionally” got my girlfriend pregant. So, there I was in 2011, having to wind up dropping out of the schoool to then move back home to Corpus Christi, TX where I am from in my parents house becuase at age of 20, I will admit that I could not have handled it on my own at the age, not even mature enough to. However, fast forward about 10 years, my beautiful daughter now almost 10, in 2019 when, after many years had no intentions of ever returning back to school again, I applied and got re admitted into UTSA again, only now at the age of 30. ha ha. The main factor being though is for one> I knew I wanted to be a pharmacst a decade ago and a decade later still is my dream to become a pharmacist. then for two: I never gave up on what I truly have a passion of wanting to do and that it’s really never too late. Yes, my overalll gpa is slightly on the low end, but the vast majority of that was in my first years of being in college age 18-20 when honeslty I just was not quite grown up and responsible enough yet and my grades as well as of course my gpa has sufffered from that. But I can guarantee you, it takes time to get better, to be bettter. And if were to get the opportunity of accceptance into pharmacy school, I basically would consider it a dream come true. I am responsible, reliable, hard worker, very motivated and a team leader type of guy. When I do sometthing, I make sure it is done correccly. Again, fully realizing that I’m on a very low spectrum with my gpa, however, I feel one should be evaluated in many other areas rather that just gpa. My gpa does not by any means reflect my capabilities. I humbly ask you to take it at least into considersation. I’m not just trying to pursue and accomplish some meaningless goal here. I am truly following my true passion, which is medicine. Also, which is what having an enjoable career is all about.
