Objective
Conduct two key informant interview (preference via phone or email) plans for community being assessed in order to assist with the development of population-based health program plan.  Key informant interviews are qualitative, in-depth interviews of people selected for their first-hand knowledge about a topic of interest.
Assignment Overview
In this assignment, you will write a 5-6 page paper (not including title and reference pages) summarizing the two separate key informant interviews you recently conducted.  This is an APA style paper.   
Step 1.
Analyze the transcripts from your two interviews.  Compile the information you collected from both interviews and determine up to three general themes (for example, behavioral health issues, nutrition, physical activity, health growth and development, etc.).
Step 2.
Include the following in this written assignment:
Write an introduction for your paper describing the key informants and interview settings.  State what the reader can expect in the key informant report (This report presents a summary of key informant interviews involving…).  State the top three general themes you identified from the interviews and briefly describe.
Summarize the interviews:
What were the top three health problems key informants identified?  Describe.  Discuss whether or not these three health problems match up with the other data you have already collected on the community.  Provide references, as necessary.
What are the barriers and challenges expressed by the key informants? Describe.
Did the key informants identify any strengths of the community?  If so, describe. 
Did the key informants identify any resource needs within the community?  If so, describe.
Conclusion
Based on the results of your interviews, summarize the key factors you plan to include in your final population-based health program plan. 
Include a minimum of three references.  Reminder:  This paper is APA style.
