Legislative and executive leaders on the city, state and federal levels have tremendous impact on how we live our lives that in a democracy they are beholden to the people, and as such it is the responsibility of the people to monitor what the elected officials are doing. Much time is spent discussing the pros and cons of our political leaders. This semester you will research the positions and actions of one political leader, examine what their supporters and opponents say and evaluate their decisions and their leader ship. You will be assigned a leader.
