Learning Goal: I’m working on a biology writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.I will provide three examples of what I am looking for when tutor is chosen. They should be written with proper grammar and English only. Thank you.There is no page limits to the proposal. Either single- or double-spaced will be fine. It will be nice if your proposal is 2-3 pages with single space, font 12. You are encouraged to use the optional submit file. Title Make sure you give a descriptive title to your proposal. I. Introduction (at least 200 meaningful words) You should read & cite at least 2 peer-reviewed articles to set up the background for your proposed study. Literature Review (Backgrounds) Identify an issue (& why it is an important issue) Research Question(s) Hypothesis (with a rationale) II. Materials & Methods (Experimental Design) (at least 200 meaningful words) You should give enough details (yet concise) in this section, so someone can replicate your work. Location Procedures (including sampling methods & sample sizes) Equipment & instrument needed Data analyses used III. Supports from previous studies (at least 50 meaningful words) Explain why your study is do-able by using previous studies’ results (tables or graphs) as supports. Make sure you also explain why they give supports. IV. Potential difficulties & solutions (at least 50 meaningful words) Talk about difficulties you may encounter for carrying out this study, and how you will tackle them. V. Societal significance (at least 50 words) Tell the funding agency why you should be funded! Literature Cited (References) List, in APA format, the articles you have cited in proposal (You need to cite at least 2 peer-reviewed primary articles)
