You are to watch your assigned segment posted as links below (about 10-15 minutes per segment) and then answer the question below in approximately 350 words. Everyone will be answering the same question this time. Use your textbook readings to familiarize yourself with the media used by your assigned artist and the web resources provided as links within Worksheet 3.
Question: What materials does your assigned artist use to create his/her work and how are they manipulated by the artist? Pick a short segment from the video and describe your artist’s working process and how you believe it is connected to the materials and aesthetics of the artwork. How do you think these materials contribute to the expressive qualities and potential meanings of the artwork, as you see it? Remember to use all relevant terms and vocabulary from your readings.
