In this class , we have discussed how language can affect not only your reading and writing experience, but society as well. In a well-developed essay, you will be asked to write about your personal feelings on language. From your experience, does language used in certain situations indicate how intelligent you are? Should someone change the way they communicate in different social settings? If so, how? Is there one way to communicate regardless of the situation? As well, you will use Toni Cade Bambara’s “The Lesson” as a point of comparison, using quotes and paraphrases to better illustrate your points.
You can say my experience was growing up in a family where we spoke “georgian” and English was broken and that’s how I can relate to it and then just make up the rest
