In clinical, when I worked with students in the ICU, it became necessary for me to make a conscious effort to point out the positives that a student had performed throughout a shift; since it is not in my nature to congratulate a student on performing a task that they were expected to know. But a little reinforcement can go a long way in helping to calm fears and bring out the best in students. Read the chapter and answer the following questions.
