Identify a specific public health agency in your region and identify the population it serves. Interview a person from that agency to obtain information required for this paper and notify reader of name and title of person being interviewed, along with date the interview was conducted. The interview can be in person, via email, or via phone.
Identify the population group being served by the agency, including the approximate number of people being served. Describe the unique characteristics of the population and identify social health determinants.
Describe the top three health concerns of this population. Provide detailed descriiptions of interventions for these three health concerns that is provided by the agency, including the names of the programs, the goal(s) of the programs, and the specific interventions provided by the program.
Data for the paper can be from the interview and from resources at the agency. The paper should be 4-6 pages, excluding title and reference pages. An abstract is not necessary. Students are expected to adhere to APA 7th edition guidelines and demonstrate scholarly, graduate-level writing skills. Please avoid using first person narrative in the paper. Students are required to use headers/ subheadings as outlined in the APA 7th edition manual. See rubric for additional details.
