I need help to further elaborate on the business restructuring announcement elaborating more on the benefits of decentralization of the services and functions mentioned below, while highlighting the need to support different business units on strategy & Business transformation.
(Further to the ongoing exercise to restructure the Head Office; I am pleased to announce the completion of the exercise to decentralise some of the services and resources has now been completed and allocated to each business unit.
The exercise will empower each business to operate more independently and enable them to promptly respond to our customer’s needs. The functions that have been decentralised at large are Finance, HR, Administration and Customer Relation (CRM).
Moreover, we are also in the process to integrate Autocare and Mercintle under MAL operation. While M Bodyshop will be merged under STL Automotive as an exclusive body shop for STL customers based in the capital. All staff and resources will be allocated to each business unit.
Head Office will continue in the near future to support each business unit on Strategy, Group Services and Business Transformation. These functions will operate with minimal headcount. )
