I must answer 4 exam questions for a take home exam. I simply am running out of time to answer all 4 and looking for some assistance for one question.
The question is; The “disease model” of alcohol abuse is the dominant model that guides much of the research and treatment that is conducted on this problem. Describe the “disease model.” What implications does this model have for treatment? What implications does this model have for the legal system (specifically, the issue of punishment and responsibility for those who abuse alcohol)?
It must be double-spaced. There is also no given length that the answer needs to be. I chose 4 pages thinking that that has been around the average length to answer each question so far. I would also need to be including references. The reference materials would be two textbooks. One is the DSM-5 (mostly used if needed to reference symptoms).
