Bush and Osama Bin Laden, and two from a pair of important political figures who had opposite reactions to the events – Columnist Ann Coulter, who wrote the most forceful call to war after 9/11, and Congresswoman Barbara Lee, the only vote against the war in Afghanistan. Your job is to compile your thoughts and reactions to them into a 3-4 page paper analyzing how 9/11 affected the authors in such different ways. I am not giving you an exact prompt, how you approach the sources is up to you, the only rule is that I don’t want you to summarize the sources, one after the other. This is meant to be a more creative response you can compare and contrast, look at shared themes, or just tell me how you felt reading each of them. There is no right way to do this.
