I am an intern at a medical malpractice law firm and I am supposed to keep a weekly journal of stuff that I do and what I’m learning. Just make it up. This paper will be 16 separate short journal entries between 1-2 pages in length. This is for a political science course.
Students must complete a weekly journal describing their activities and responsibilities at their work site. Each journal entry should be 1-2 typed pages in length. More than simply a list of tasks that you completed during any given day, this journal should also be your first attempt at understanding your role in the larger organization and the role that the organization plays in the political world. In this journal you will record what you do for the organization and more importantly reflect on what these tasks do to help the organization achieve its mission in the political world. At the start, the journal will probably be more descriptive, but as your internship continues, it will contain more of your personal analysis.
