How would you examine your research question from a qualitative perspective? Take the broad research question that you developed in Module 1 and answer the following: 1. Identify and describe three types of qualitative research methods. 2. What qualitative research method have you decided to use and why? 3. Describe your sampling design. (Hint: qualitative data usually uses purposive sampling methods). 4. Describe the kind of relationship you intend to have with the informants. Will you be hidden, neutral, collaborative, or action-driven? 5. If you will develop or adopt qualitative research instruments (e.g. open-ended interview questions, open-ended surveys, informed consent agreements), describe them and the process of development/adoption, revisions, etc. These instruments may go as appendixes of your proposal. 6. Describe your intended qualitative data analysis procedures such as narratives, coding and interpretation. Make sure that you include the title of your study in your heading. Check to ensure that you have checked your work for grammar, spelling, punctuation. Cite all references used in APA style.
