Here are the directions. I attached a sample capstone project (Red Powerpoint slide) and the template for my poster that you can just fill in. I started the poster template You can edit as you please ( Purple powerpoint slide) . Please attach the references on a separate slide.
Using the concepts related to your change project and field experience/practicum, create and present a poster that describes key components of your capstone project.
The recommended format for the poster is a single PowerPoint slide. A sample poster is included in Canvas to help guide the layout and general design. You may design the poster using your creativity as long as the primary components are included.
It is recommended that you use Microsoft PowerPoint to create the poster. However, you may use any program or software of your choice to create the poster as long as the finished product can be submitted to Canvas and accessed/viewed by faculty and peers (without the need to install any additional plug-ins or software). Other software options include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Word or Keynote.
Presentation of the poster is a requirement. Options for presenting the poster include, but are not limited to, adding a voice-over audio narration component to the poster or recording a video of yourself presenting the poster. Keep in mind that the poster and presentation must be fully accessible to faculty and peers in Canvas (without the need to install any additional plug-ins or software). The presentation should be between 3 to 6 minutes in length. Be concise in the poster content and in the presentation.
If you are unsure about using a specific type of software or method, please consult with your faculty prior to creating or submitting the assignment. Collaborating with your faculty prior to submitting the assignment will help prevent issues related to accessing and evaluating the assignment.
Components of the Poster:
In your poster, include the following nine (9) components:
Project title
Name and credentials: Include both academic and professional credentials (e.g., John Smith, ASN, RN)
