Hello! I am still in the ‘deciding on a specific topic’ phase of my dissertation

Hello! I am still in the ‘deciding on a specific topic’ phase of my dissertation (with that needing to be submitted this Friday – unofficial deadline). The dissertation is 10k words and is due next year February 2022, so I would like to request someone who is willing to work on this with me throughout the coming months – starting off with this request for a topic and a little abstract summary of what your hypothesis may be, what you want to explore etc… This dissertation is for my course “English language and linguistics” at a British university and I have decided on my supervisor and the main topic will be around “Pragmatic and discourse analysis” particularly Deceptive language – Bullshit, lying in specific context e.g. politics, ad/marketing. Clickbait journalism, gaming etc) – if you have a context in mind, ALL THE BETTER please let me know! This is the suggestion from my supervisor on the dissertation topic (however, I have decided on deceptive language unless you have any ideas on a different phenomenon!): “Pick a phenomenon: irony, humour, metaphor + Pick a perspective: comparing linguistic / cultural / social contexts, discourse-specific contexts (e.g. gaming, online communities, politics etc), mediums/modalities (e.g. online / face-to-face, anonymous / identified, private / public etc). Also, anything on deceptive language (lying, bullshitting) in specific contexts (e.g. politics, advertising/marketing, clickbait journalism). ” I was thinking of doing the dissertation on “Bullshitting in politics from political leaders (prime example Donald Trump) and the media ” – What is bullshit? How do we spot it difference between bullshiting and lying in politics and media – Bullshitting politics with conspiracies – Particularly with the use of data graphics to mislead audiences in newspapers, articles etc – Social media manipulation – fake news, memes The topic of bullshit could be any context such as Science or advertising, politics, gaming etc (If you have a topic you are confident in writing about in relation to bullshitting/lying then that would make me very happy as we can get to work with this asap! My supervisor is in charge of that department AND THEY WILL BE MARKING THIS DISSERTATION, and they have observed a similar bullshit dissertation last year which they gave a first class result too (70/100 in the UK which is my goal), and they will be sending me that dissertation as an example and some journals, guides etc on bullshit which I will obviously share with you (and they will be holding their own mini experiments on bullshit which I want to embed in this dissertation also) – basically I will share all the material I find and the marking scheme, expectations, guidelines, everything you need to know about this course and how to write a perfect dissertations and examples of past dissertations in the course that did great also! What I need from you: – I NEED SOMEONE I CAN BE IN CONTACT WITH VERY FREQUENTLY (PREFERABLY NOT MORE THAN 2 DAYS WAIT FOR A RESPONSE OR IF WE CAN CHAT LIVE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!) as I will be having meetings with my supervisor and will need to be able to feed back anything or any advice and guidance they give, so you can apply it and I can have a look too! – Access to your essay plans and drafts (we can set deadlines between ourselves for example by this day I would like to see some of your research/ rough paragraph on a certain topic etc even if its unfinished gibberish/plans and sentences as long as I can see what you’re working on and get an idea of where it’s going, so I’m in the loop too as this needs to come from “me” – I would be happy if a rough draft could be done by Christmas too (doesn’t have to be the full 10k words could be less like 5k for example) because then I could get my supervisor (who will be the one marking this dissertation by the way!) to get their input, and then we know if we’re on the right track or not! – this is just a preference but if we keep in communication and I can hear your plans, thoughts for this dissertation, and I’m able to contribute through providing media, journals and direct information from the supervisor then I will be very satisfied in it being done by February! – Someone who is confident in writing a dissertation for a UK University So right now I would just like to see who is interested n taking on this dissertation (if you have any topics in mind etc and if you have some things you would like to share on how you would work on this dissertation for me! – Thank you!) I HAVE ATTACHED AN EXAMPLE OF A DISSERTATION THAT WAS SHARED TO US BY THE SUPERVISOR AND WAS AWARDED A 1ST CLASS (70+/100) This is what my dissertation will need to look like completed.
