For this week, let’s talk about TQM.  We can use Chapter 13 as our basis.  And, let’s talk specifically about employee involvement – because it is crucial to TQM success!  Your discussion forum task this week is two-fold:
1) List some reasons why you think or should think…. (Yes, professor prerogative is being used here) employee involvement is crucial to TQM success.  Feel free to use outside resources to support this, and appropriately cite.
And then, 2) give an example of an improvement process you may have be involved with in the past and share your experiences, either good or bad.  Maybe you didn’t have TQM, but something akin to it.  As the book notes, there are several quality improvement processes out there, by different names, but the goal is the same.
