For this Assignment, you will research and write about one of these significant episodes of widespread prejudice and what the major factors that contributed to it occurring may have been. In your research paper, you must address the following:
Identify your research topic (Including the important what, where, when and who).
Identify and explain any relevant laws or decrees by the ruling body.
Explain how the laws or decrees may have affected the persecution and determine their impact on the overall outcome of the persecution.
Identify and explain two or three representative social practices (or “norms”) of the time which best reflect the prejudice of the time.
Evaluate how these norms persuaded people to contribute to the injustices of the problem explain how this continued and may have developed the prejudice even today.
