Using the two films above, both of which I wanted to show in class, please write 1-2 pages double-spaced describing brief examples of talentism in both. Could be in the form of bullet points. Write 1-2 brief paragraphs about how the creativity talk may or may not be used to overcome historical beliefs and prejudices connected to racism. Does it lead to more social mobility or could be used to justify status quo advantages of inter-generational “talent”? Who gets to perform high-level creativity as children or young adults?
