Each student in the group should plan on presenting a 10 minute report to the class on his/her topic and should be prepared to answer questions concerning the presentation.
Your presentations including visual aids will be graded on an individual basis. It will be evaluated based on the following three criteria:
(1) how responsively you address the issues raised in the particular policy question;
(2) how effectively you employ class and outsides source to organize and analyze your points; and
(3) how coherently you present the information you have gathered to the class in general.

FLORIDA HB 1189 (Chapter 2020-159) prohibits insurers from using genetic information to price policies and offerings. It blocks companies from requiring or soliciting genetic information from applicants and forbids DNA-testing companies from providing genetic information to insurers without customer’s permission. What are the main fears concerning the distribution and use of this information? What are the arguments –quite as they currently may be – opposed to such information?
