Your reading in this unit included the topic of communication styles.
Describe the style employed at a job you hold, or held in the past.
The first consideration is whether or not you think it was appropriate.
While a minimum of communication is required to maintain a good working relationship between management and employees, the proper level is dependent on the complexity of the work itself, managerial span of control and other considerations. Was the tone at your workplace professional or personal?
