According to Quarantelli (2008), and Perry and Lindell (2003), there are common misconceptions about human behavior in disasters. Discuss them and provide examples. Also, read the study of panic in the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire by Johnson (1988). Discuss whether you believe this is representative of behavior in other types of emergencies.
