Watch segments 1-4 of this video “Don’t Panic: How to End Poverty in 15 Years (Links to an external site.),” which is about the first nine minutes of this 60 minute video. Be sure to take the three-question poverty quiz and to learn about different ways to define poverty, such as relative poverty and extreme poverty. Then watch Segment 11 of the video, which begins around the 36th minute. Then post your response to DF #3: did you get the quiz questions correct? How far off were you? Can you identify stereotypes and misperceptions you might have about global poverty?
For this and all Discussion Forums, you must make an original post (worth up to 80 points), and then a reply post to someone else’s post (worth up to 20 points). Your original post must have at least one relevant, meaningful citation to the assigned readings, lecture notes or any other legitimate source. Posts should be approximately five – six sentences.
