Choose a topic from the various modules that we have explored throughout the semester. Expand on this topic area by identifying a gap, or a piece that is problematic or overlooked.
1. Address a gap in the field of global health promotion inspired by one of the topics in the modules. Build a testimonial to address the potential to fix this gap. This will be a written document, 5-pages of content in length, 12-point font, 1.5 spacing, 1-inch margins. Include an APA style title page, and an APA style reference page (note: these do not count as pages of content. Please refer to apastyle.org).
A) Describe your major, qualifications and expertise. This can include formal and informal training, experience in field or familial experience (about 0.5 – 1 page).
B) Describe the gap or disparity. What is the problem? Why does it exist? Who does it harm (about 2 pages)? Utilize textbook, peer-reviewed and reputable online resources to support your claims.
C) Describe methods that can be taken to fix this gap. How could this be done? What benefits will come from this? Will funds be necessary- where will these come from (about 2 pages)? Utilize textbook, peer-reviewed and reputable online resources to support your claims.
Additionally, include at least 3 government, agency or organizational citations/websites to support your claims. Remember to cite these in-text and in your reference list using proper APA format.
