Choose a form of social media and write 500-600 words about how people are discussing your neighborhood or particular topic.  This will be an experimental assignment meant to allow you to think about how people create meaning or community online.  Some suggestions would be to think about how conflicts arise in online discourse; how people create meaning in uncertain circumstances; how misinformation is spread, and why someone might choose to believe one narrative over another; Etc….
Screen shot the images and add them into your journal.  De-identify (censor their name) the individual if it is a private account.
