You are encouraged to research additional sources including Congressional reports, think tank reports, state reports, local perspectives etc….
The following questions should guide you while writing your paper.
1. Was their enough evidence from Chinese sources to indicate their intent to expand into the SCS.
2. What economic drivers led the Chinese int the SCS?
3. How much of a factor does the US policy in the region impact Chinese strategy?
4. Why does China consider the SCS a strategic policy?
The above questions are simply a guide to follow. As they are deliberately broad in scope. You should have enough flexibility to focus your paper on specific topics.
