“Brazil” Choose a diverse culture or group that you would like to know more about. Your selection cannot include your own culture, group, or religion, etc. Indicate a clear, appropriate, and accurate understanding of the information that you are submitting. The bulk of your information must be current. You must have PowerPoint slides plus three typed pages and a typed work cited page using the MLA format seperately.
It must be submitted by the due date. Three sources of information must be provided. If you use a newspaper article, interview, video, or magazine, you must have 4 sources. If you select one of the topics listed then you do not need advance approval for your topic.
You must have PowerPoint slides with pictures and information in addition to your paper.
This is one assignment and must be submitted at the same time.
You do not need a voice recording.
Three pages of research plus your works cited page are required. The works cited page must be on a separate page in MLA format. Do not use Wikipedia, encyclopedias, or travel brochures. You must have at least 3 sources. Do not use the textbook as a source. If you use a newspaper article, magazine, or interview, etc. then you will need an additional source for each one that you use.
Your information must be current, interesting, and informative. Originality is a plus. Base some of it on what you have learned this semester as a sociology student. I am not looking for basic information like food, dress, etc. Think collegiate work.
