Based on the “windshield survey” of
your own neighborhood in Module 5 and your improvement essay in Module 7,
create a PowerPoint regarding improvements to the community. Considering all
you learned through the windshield survey and the improvement essay, now
discuss how housing and zoning could be improved and answer the following
questions, for example. What would the impact of more open spaces mean for the
community? How could transportation in your area be improved? Describe the services
available and how to improve for all populations? This PPT is the final
analysis of your community and its needs.
Use clear headings that allow your
professor to know which bullet you are addressing on the slides in your
presentation. Support your content with at least three (3) reference sources
throughout your presentation. REFERENCES CAN BE USED FROM THE MODULE 5 AND 7
ESSAYS. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style
for the presentation. Include a title slide and a reference slide. Follow best
practices for PowerPoint presentations related to text size, color, images,
effects, wordiness, and multimedia enhancements. Don’t crowd the slides; use
the “speaker notes” to elaborate on the meaning or content within each slide.
