As you work notice the interaction of the colors as they are juxtaposed and how the paintings change as you add more color.

Three separate Images on one Paper please and thank you. As you work notice the interaction of the colors as they are juxtaposed and how the paintings change as you add more color. You will either need paint and brushes or glue and colored papers, found and/or bought. Painting/Collage 1: Choose one pair of complementary colors, to use as your color scheme. If using paint, create the image from mixtures of this pair of colors. If you are using paper, find multiple types of this pair of colors, to create your imagery. Painting/Collage 2: Use only the primary colors and white, as your color scheme. Use white to mix with the other colors. Be sure to try mixing your yellow with red, yellow with blue, and red with blue, and the results of these mixtures with each other, as well as the pure colors. You potentially have the use of all of the colors on the color wheel, at your disposal. If you are using paper, find a variety of the primary colors to create your image. Painting/Collage 3: Make a painting/collage with predominantly warm colors and use a FEW COOL accents. For a refresher on any of these color harmony concepts, please refer to Lecture 7- Color and Light, as well as to the myartslab.com resources for this week on color.
