To build credibility, use at least six separate sources in support of your claim. Start with the
PDF file given. Then branch out to other sources. When deciding whether or not to use a
source, consider who wrote it, where it is published, when it was published, and what is
written. The sources do not have to be from academic journals.
Thesis Statement
Argument Essays must have an explicit thesis statement at the end of the introduction.
Counterargument
Academic arguments must consider opposing viewpoints. include
opposing arguments in your essay and either refute the opposing argument or concede a point.
Be sure to represent opposing arguments fairly to avoid “straw man” arguments.
Word Count – The Argument must be 1600 words. Heading, title, and works cited do not
count towards the total
Professor feedback
For this essay, do not use first-person with “I”. Maintain a formal style with third-person.
I do see sources in the Works Cited section and I do see a few in-text citations. However, I do not see citations for all facts, figures, and statistics. Are you sure that you added in-text citations for all material which comes from another source? I would check each paragraph and each sentence to make sure there is no confusion regarding this.
An abstract is not needed for this essay. No subtitles are needed either. Please remove them.
