Alternative feed resources for aquaculture feed Task1 Explain the nutritional value of the different feed resources that are commercially available. Explain why you want these components in your feed. What are the advantages and, if there are any, disadvantages of the particular resource ? Food safety can also be mentioned if there are any concerns about it. Explain if they are commercially viable economically and by production scale. Note if some resources are hard/expensive to harvest or produce or to turn into useable oil/meal.
